Sufi Psychology Association Conferences are interdisciplinary events that are held in at least three different universities each year. The 13th annual interdisciplinary conferences are being held during the academic year of 2008-2009. The conferences provide invaluable information on both Western and Non-Western approaches to positively impacting human behavior, examining. both Western, linear, brain-centered theory and research results and methods and non-Western, non-linear holistic, heart-centered approaches to producing positive changes in human behavior. The conferences are experiential and often interactive.
Speakers
The speakers have all effectively applied Sufi principles in their own lives and come from an interesting variety of fields. Each speaker presents a unique perspective on the human developmental process.
Conference Details
The conferences are held from 9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. on Saturday or Sunday. Delicious complimentary Persian breakfast, lunch and snacks nourish the body, the mind and the soul. Participants often comment on the caring atmosphere of beauty, harmony, peace and love they experience.
The conferences are open to the public and community members routinely attend. Continuing Education Units are offered for Licensed Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors in various states.

Fees include tuition as well as a gourmet Persian breakfast, lunch and snacks.
